We know bikes, we ride bikes, and most importantly we love bikes.
Our staff is diverse in their interests and cycling passions. BC Cup Downhill Racing, leisure road riding, BMX, long distance cross country, or even just commuting and cruising, we all ride and receive great enjoyment from it. Not only do we love riding, but we love to pass that passion along to others, through volunteering time with local schools and youth groups. As well, countless hours are spent maintaining trails and advocating cycling issues, all in the enjoyment of our sport.
Another of our passions is our environment, we would rather “burn fat” than “burn fuel”. We promote our employees and our customers to ride their bikes to work or school, rather than drive their cars.
We go through great effort to recycle everything we can. Tires, tubes, plastics, paper, metal, cardboard, oil, and even the grounds from are coffee machine are recycled.
When it comes to trails and trail networks, we promote proper trail building and maintenance etiquette. Low impact, and a “ride, don’t slide” mentality are the future to keeping our trail networks accessible for future generations.
