Back when the S-Works Venge was just a twinkle in Specialized's eye, it won one of the most prestigious races in cycling: Milan-San Remo. And now you can own the same WorldTour-level speed! Its FACT 11r-carbon frame was tuned and tweaked in the wind tunnel for maximum aerodynamic advantage. Its blade-like tapered fork meshes seamlessly with the massive aero down tube, which in turn works with the rear wheel cutout and assymmetrical, airfoil-shaped seatstays to minimize drag to the nth degree. If that wasn't enough, the Venge utilizes a supremely aerodynamic seatpost that boasts a reversible head so you can dial in the setback and find the perfect position. For even more velocity, you get a Shimano Dura-Ace group that dishes out flawless shifting and unmatched braking, slippery Roval Rapide SL carbon wheels and svelte carbon components courtesy of Specialized.

Get ready for stiff ride in this fully aero machine. Gravel, uneven or broken pavement will be more noticeable while riding this lightweight bike, however, undoubtedly, it's worth it ($$$) to enjoy how the bike easily reaches 30 km/h with less effort. Being an enthusiastic and avid cyclist, I own a Specialized Allez too and oohhhh boy... those 5 or 6 pounds less in the Venge make a lot of difference for those 3 or 4 hours group rides. Keeping up with the Pack at 35~40 clicks per hour is less difficult than before.I sometimes struggle with the Allez while climbing and needed to increase my cadence. Now with the Venge, it seems to be the perfect fit for facing short and hilly roads at lower cadence. Long and steady hills are more enjoyable to go through. On the down side, being a skinny rider (145 pounds), I feel more the impact of crosswinds with the Venge. May be the Roval 45 wheelset I use act as a parachute? Who said you will only get headwinds while riding?. Last thought: Definitely a dream-bike for riders who wants to make their dreams come true at a costly price tag
This bike is noticably faster than my SL3 Tarmac as a result of the aerodynamic properties. It feels like drafting someone half all the time! I would suggest it to anyone who is looking for a competitive edge or to get themselvs the best that is available. Looking forward to the Expert Venge soming which is an afforable retail of $4500!
